About Enhanced Fertility

Healthtech company Enhanced Fertility uses digital and AI-powered infrastructure to improve outcomes in reproductive healthcare, including reducing missed and delayed diagnoses. By connecting scattered clinical data, it empowers clinicians to make more informed decisions and helps patients access personalised, evidence-based fertility care.

The challenge

Before TechBio Boost, Enhanced Fertility had succeeded in validating its software, which automates the diagnosis of fertility conditions. However, it needed to overcome several hurdles before it could fulfil its ambition of bringing its software to the US market, including:

• Launching a pilot with US lab partners and preparing and submitting documentation for FDA regulation.
• Preparing and filing priority patent applications to protect its assets.
• Closing a financing round with US investors.
• Developing a go-to-market playbook.
• Engaging potential strategic acquirers, including Electronic Health Record providers, pharmaceutical companies and provider networks.

How TechBio Boost helped

As part of its participation in TechBio Boost, Enhanced Fertility received virtual one-to-one support that was crucial in preparing its pitch deck for investor meetings. The business also received advice about how to successfully enter the US market.

Our impact

Since joining the programme, Enhanced Fertility has incorporated in the US and, through collaborations with 16 laboratories, has made its tests available across 50 US states. It now plans to expand partnerships with fertility clinics and lab networks, and to continue validating its AI models through clinical studies.

Enhanced Fertility is also in discussions to run pilots in two US hospitals, has raised investment and prepared documentation for medical device registration.

In the near term, it plans further international growth, which requires localising the platform for new markets and languages. Long term, it aims to improve fertility outcomes around the world by building “the leading data infrastructure” for reproductive health that enables earlier diagnosis and more personalised treatment pathways for patients.

About Kiin Bio

Kiin Bio is aiming to accelerate the drug discovery process – from literature review and bioinformatics to experimental design and laboratory execution – by uniting virtual scientists, an agentic marketplace and scalable infrastructure on its KiinOS Platform.

The challenge

Before joining TechBio Boost, Kiin Bio had recently closed a pre-seed funding round of $2.2m (£1.65m). It just needed advice on how to use the funds to fulfil its two main priorities: growing its client pipeline and building its team.

How TechBio Boost helped

Kiin Bio described the support it received on TechBio Boost as invaluable. In particular, it praised the programme for the direct one-to-one access to experienced industry leaders that it gained, while the well-curated networking events led to genuine new commercial opportunities.

The two-day retreat was another highlight. Bringing together current and past cohort members, the retreat provided a chance to build strong, lasting relationships with like-minded peers who Kiin Bio says continue to support its growth journey.

Finally, the Demo Day, which was held at the Francis Crick Institute, allowed the company to refine its pitch and form new investor relationships ahead of further fundraising in 2026.

Our impact

Thanks to the relationships it formed and the fundraising support it received on the TechBio Boost programme, Kiin Bio has brought forward its plans to raise investment. It plans to use the funds to build its team, grow its client pipeline in the UK and EU, and support its expansion plans in the US.
