Why did you decide to expand to London and how did London & Partners help?

Funcell Games chose to expand to London as part of our strategic vision to grow globally while staying at the forefront of mobile gaming innovation. London offered the perfect combination of creative energy, tech talent and business infrastructure.

But what truly set it apart was its geographic and strategic position – a central hub that connects us seamlessly to major gaming markets. Being based in London also places us at the heart of the European and global gaming calendar, with most of the industry’s leading conferences, expos and networking events happening within this region.

This proximity has already enhanced our ability to build meaningful partnerships and stay plugged into the latest trends. London has already proven to be more than just a location – it’s a catalyst for growth, collaboration and innovation.

We’re incredibly grateful to London & Partners for its hands-on support throughout our relocation – from setting up operations to helping us integrate into London’s vibrant ecosystem. London isn’t just our new base, it’s the launchpad for Funcell’s next chapter.

What support from London & Partners proved particularly helpful?

We were introduced to international business expansions specialist Oury Clark to help us set up a UK entity and apply for visas. We were retained and successful in both.

Our introduction to Frankie Taylor, Relocation Director at International Management Answers, was key in getting the relocation support we needed. Frankie was able to find suitable property and supported the move-in process.

We also attended the Creative Networking Reception, where we were introduced to Games London.

I would recommend London & Partners for its exceptional support navigating the London business landscape. Whether it’s market entry, international expansion or strategic partnerships, they consistently provide practical resources and a collaborative approach that makes doing business in London more efficient and impactful. Its invaluable insights, tailored guidance and strong networks help businesses of all sizes grow, expand and connect with key stakeholders.

How has your presence in London helped your company grow? Are there any outcomes or milestones you would like to share with us?

Since establishing our presence in London, Funcell Games has seen promising early traction.

One of the first major opportunities was attending Pocket Gamer Connects, where we were able to connect directly with key players in the global gaming space. This led to meaningful conversations and ongoing relationships with partners like Dots.eco, Poki Games and Crazy Games, opening doors for potential collaborations.

On the talent front, we’ve made our first local hire, a quality analyst, and are actively expanding our London-based team to support upcoming projects.

Most significantly, being in London allowed us to coordinate and launch our latest title, Idle Fast Food, with strategic support from BoomBit Games (Poland), who partnered with us on user acquisition and monetisation strategies. The synergy between our creative team in London and publishing partners across Europe has been a key advantage of the move.
